Guitar Video Lesson 001 - Left Hand Strength & Finger Independence
This lesson we’ll look at building up left hand strength and finger independence using a few different exercises. We’ll be using all four fingers on the left hand and alternate picking with the right hand. These are great warm-ups too.

It’s been a great year for teaching - lots of new students, all who took the Rockschool exams passed with a Merit award or above and a good number of songs have been learnt!
Currently I do around 100 private lessons each month and there’s just not enough hours in the day to take on many others! To expand and widen my services, 2012 will see the start of my online tuition website. The site will incorporate weekly video lessons, downloadable teaching notes in PDF format and MP3 backing tracks for extra practise help. These resources will be made available firstly to current students, but then also to the world wide web - people who live further away and can’t do one-to-one lessons.
